Event Details
Three rides. One destination.
We ride for reconciliation, awareness and change, in support of the indigenous peoples of Canada. Many Children taken to residential schools across the nation lost their lives from neglect and abuse. Survivors’ trauma affects generations.
Riders from all backgrounds coming together, to bring awareness and change.
This year we have another great ride and event planned. With three starting/registration locations being Hamilton, Niagara and Cambridge, on site registration starts at 9 am and KSU 11 am. For cost, address and other details see our flyer. All three routes will lead to the Niagara Regional Native Centre. everyone is welcome to meet at the centre if you cant attend a ride, there is parking for cars as well. Bring the whole family out and enjoy the event with us at 1 p.m.
Registration at the centre for non riders is $20 and Children are free entry. Follow our page for updates and more details. This event and ride is happening rain or shine. We are still recruiting for volunteers if anyone is interested. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
Riders will be able to learn about Indigenous culture, and the history and importance of Residential Schools in Canada, with the opportunity to change the narrative. We must recognize our role, as people living on ancestral lands, and bring awareness to the past as well as ongoing issues. By acknowledging the past, and by demanding change and justice, reconciliation can take place.
