SCRC 312 presents the 1st Annual Poker Run for Paws! All proceeds will benefit local animal rescues in Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton.

On Sunday, September 22nd join us for an awesome fun-filled day of motorcycle riding and raising money for some great local animal rescues. All proceeds will benefit CK Animal Rescue and Lambton Cat Rescue. These two amazing organizations have such a positive impact in our community and we would love to show our support for them with your help!

Our poker run will consist of a roughly 225km route with stops in Lighthouse Cove, Comber, North Buxton and Erieau. At each stop you will draw a poker card towards your hand. Extra cards will be available for purchase at the end of the ride. The ride will be self-led, so riders and groups can make their own route! Road captains will be available to lead riders or groups who are unsure of locations.

Registration cost is $30/rider and $20/passenger. Each person will get their own poker card. Pre-registration is open until September 6th, 2024 and everyone who pre-registers will get a roast beef dinner included with their cost after the ride. Pre-registration can be completed by emailing southerncruisers312@gmail.com or texting (226) 627-7317. ONLY PRE-REGISTERED RIDERS WILL BE OFFERED THE ROAST BEEF DINNER. We just want to clear up any confusion, pre-registration is required for the meal so everything will be prepared before the meal begins.

Registration will begin at 10am at our venue; Wallaceburg Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18. Their address is 52 Margaret Avenue, Wallaceburg, Ontario. Registration will be open from 10AM – 12PM. Riders can begin the route at any time they wish and ride it at their leisure. ALL riders must be back to the Legion no later than 4pm. Any cards not turned in by 4pm will be considered forfeited. Prizes and raffles will be handed out beginning at 4pm with the dinner to follow around 4:30pm.

There will be lots of raffle prizes available as well as a surprise grand prize for the winning poker hand.

All riders are welcome to attend regardless of what you throw your leg over! Come on out and support these great local organizations and get a great day of riding in.
