Biker Down: First Aid Course

Biker Down is a FREE incident management and first aid course designed specifically for motorcycle incidents.

Motorcyclists tend to ride in groups or on the same great roads. Statistics show that often times the first person on scene of a motorcycle incident is another rider! Why would you not want to train and empower motorcyclists to save another biker’s life?

Consisting of 2 in person modules (Incident Scene Management and Biker Down First Aid for motorcyclists) and 9 on demand videos; Biker Down trains riders to be able to safely and effectively manage an accident scene and provide life saving first aid.

Canada Rides adventure training is for all levels of riders who want to take their riding to the next level. Our training focuses on improving fundamentals and advancing your training to the next level. Our locations provide diverse training environments, including hills, single and double-track trails, sand, and other riding surfaces, allowing everyone to experience and practice in actual adventure riding conditions.

What you will learn

Bike set-up and body position for off-road riding

The top 5 accessories every adventure bike should have

The gear to comfortably ride your Adventure Motorcycle

Exercises for cornering, braking, clutch control, and acceleration

How to ride in all types of terrain: sand, mud, gravel, rocks, water crossings, hills, ruts & ridges

The cost of the course is $200 and includes lunch. The course will be capped at 12 participants. There will be an opportunity to participate in a group ride on Sunday to practice what you learned on Saturday.

Note: As weather is unpredictable in April, we have an alternate date of May 3rd in case of snow.

Skid will doing our Blessing we are truly grateful to him and Bikers for Christ for all the support over the years.

The Blessing of the Bikes is a yearly tradition where a priest blesses motorcycle and bicycle riders to wish them safety for the upcoming season. The event is often held at the beginning of summer in many towns.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR), the world’s largest and most stylish charitable motorcycle event on Sunday, May 18th, 2025.

Classic and vintage style motorcycles unite for men’s health.

On Sunday, May 18th, 2025, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride will return after celebrating 14 years of riding dapper! Over 120,000 distinguished gentlefolk in 750 cities worldwide don their finest attire, ready their engines, and press their tweed before sitting astride their classic and vintage styled motorcycles to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health.

All riders must be registered at The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride website to view local ride details, with details are to remain confidential.

Fundraise and be rewarded.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a celebration of the art of being dapper and riding classic and custom motorcycles. It has brought together hundreds of thousands of gentlefolk over a love of motorcycles but has united them over the causes of mental health and prostate cancer research.

The 5th annual Longwoods Motorcycle Rally is set to be the biggest event yet!

Returning in 2025 is the much anticipated Longwoods Motorcycle Rally. Held annually in Thamesville, Ontario, the Longwoods Rally features a weekend full of events. From classic bikes shows, performances, live music, vendors, food trucks, a classic car show and more, we promise you won’t want to miss this rally!

Friday afternoon we will kick off the weekend with our opening band (TBD) taking over the main stage at 6pm after our opening ceremony. Onsite 50/50 ticket sales will start at 4pm and some vendors will also be onsite Friday afternoon. Cruise into Thamesville for some great tunes and beverages to begin the weekend.

Saturday’s events will surely keep the whole family busy all day. Main Street will be lined with many motorcycles. Some will be participating in the official bike Show ‘N Shine while others will just be passing through checking out the festivities. The Longwoods Show ‘N Shine will take place from 10am-4pm Sunday with a wide range of awards available to win for all makes and models. We will have several bands taking over the main stage Saturday with a surprise headline band Saturday night. There will be 30+ vendors on-site for all your shopping and browsing needs. Saturday will also feature a car show in Ferguson Park as well as the official Kidz Zone with lots to keep the kids busy!

Sunday morning will host the official Longwoods Community Church Service and Lunch as well as the official vendor market in the park.

The 2025 Longwoods Motorcycle Rally will be the best yet. Hosted by the Freedom Road Riders Association.

Shuttle Service: To make navigating the fest a breeze, we’ll provide a shuttle service connecting the downtown area to the beachfront, ensuring everyone can easily access all the fun!

Car & Bike Show: The heart of our show will be at the beachfront, where you can admire a stunning display of classic cars and motorcycles in a picturesque setting.

Food & Vendors: Wander up to Bolton Street where you’ll find all our vendors along with a delicious assortment of food and drink options to keep you fueled throughout the day.

Live Music: We’re collaborating with local bars to provide a variety of music from their venues. Additionally, we’ll have a dedicated stage at the beachfront featuring live bands to keep the festive spirit going strong.

34th Annual International Motorcycle Ride To Work Day 2025

June 10th 2025 – Worldwide !

NOTE: Ride to Work Day was previously held on the 3rd Monday in June. However, in certain years, the 3rd Monday in June may fall on the recently established United States federal holiday of Juneteenth and many business and government entities will be closed. Because RTW Day is about riding to work (as well as for utility transportation), starting in 2024 RTW Day will annually be on the Second Tuesday in June. This day is chosen because A) it breaks up the workweek better than a Monday day does (RTW Day is a demonstration day), and B) because a midweek day is more likely to receive media coverage than a Monday or Friday.

Well it’s high time we added another to the list of premier bike week events. And what better place than right here, in Ontario.

Get ready riders for the first annual Barry’s Bay bike week. Officially called The Rally in the Valley.
Why Barry’s Bay? Because it’s the hub of the best riding in Ontario. Those familiar with Ride the Highlands routes already know what Barry’s Bay and the surrounding area have to offer to riders.

With several biker friendly motels and establishments already established through the Highlands routes and gorgeous scenery, we now need you, the riders to come and finally give the Ontario riding community what it desperately needs and make The Rally in the Valley a success on the level of those bike rallies already mentioned.

Although still in the planning stages, stay tuned to this page as confirmed events, accommodation and camping lists plus routes will be linked.

The 1st annual event is scheduled for the weekend of June 20th-22nd 2025.

We are pleased to announce details for

the annual Lion’s Tail ride on June 21st, 2025.

100% of the ride donations, as always, go to the 5 local peninsula school’s Breakfast clubs. Like previous years, the ride is by donation only, allowing everyone the opportunity to participate.

The ride will start at our friends, and advertisers, The Bear Tracks Inn & Restaurant in Ferndale, then continue throughout the beautiful Bruce Peninsula, ending with a Vendor’s Fair at The Bluewater Park Pavilion in Wiarton.

We start registration at 9 AM, at The Bear Tracks Inn and Restaurant.

The actual ride starts at 11 AM sharp, and ends at the Pavilion in Wiarton, around 3 PM. The Vendor’s fair is open until 6 PM, minimum, up till 9 PM if it is busy.

If you wish to be a vendor or to participate in another way (such as donating a door prize), please contact us for more details. 

On our past rides, up to 135 motorcycles have attended, with most having a passenger. We are growing each year.

All street-legal vehicles are always welcome.
