On our blog, we talk about the bikes that we have tested. Not in our habit of doing otherwise, so why this exception?

Honda recently announced the introduction of the 1100 to the Rebel family. We then, like many, watched the presentation video and here is why we decided to tell you about it.

To make a simple and effective summary, the new Rebel 1100 includes the look of the Rebel 500, CB technology (Drive Mode, Torque Control and more) as well as the Africa Twin engine (tuned for the road ).

Impressive and looks awesome!

A few years ago, when Honda presented the redesigned Rebel to us, with its looks and possibilities we were already won over. With this new engine, Honda will please many motorcyclists who still shun the smaller displacement engine motorcycles.

You can get it with a regualr 6-speed or DCT transmission as found on the Africa Twin and Gold Wing. LED Headlight, ABS and Cruise-control are also included.

And if Honda has worked on the exhaust sound as they did on the Rebel 500, many will be most pleasantly surprised with the result.

We had the chance to try the Rebel 500 as well as the CB1000R in the last few months. Two exceptional machines that deserve your full attention. The Africa Twin also has an excellent reputation.

With the reliability of the Honda motorcycles, the Rebel 1100 is a serious choice to consider.

Hoping to be able to put the Rebel 1100 2021 to the test and give you our impressions after completing the Knuckle Challenge! Traveling 1000km in one day allows us to understand the strengths and weaknesses and to have real statistics on normal use.

While waiting for the snow to melt, we invite you to read the result of the test ride of the Rebel 500!

If you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to contact us!
