Open event for anyone, any bike (or vehicle for that matter), any skill level. Meet at the parking lot at Walmart in the Centrum Kanata @ 9am. Kick stands up when majority arrive, probably around 9:30am. We’ll take Terry Fox down to Eagleson, then meander along beginer-friendly back roads down to Iroquois.

Probably a quick stop at the Swan on the Rideau (say @ 10ish) to pick up more riders on our way. Traffic is expected to be a nightmare, crowd and parking can also be a challenge. All of this is a big unknown so this could be a fun event, or we could be stuck on the roads for hours, no one knows at this point. We may split off into multiple groups for riders with different skills and penchant for spirited ridings.

At destination (whether Iroquois or some other place depending on crowds), we’ll grab food, and then hangout and enjoy the eclipse, all 2 minutes of it. There will be movies made and shenanigans to be had.

Oh, weather permitting of course, if it rains there’s no ride, but if it’s cloudy I’d still go for a ride, vacay day already booked.
