Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Motorcycle Technician to join our team at GP Bikes in Whitby. Based in our modern dealership, the Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing motorcycles, ensuring top-quality service for our customers and supporting our mission to be the premier powersport retailer.
As a Motorcycle Technician, you will be responsible for performing a full range of service and repair work on motorcycles and powersports vehicles. This includes everything from routine maintenance and tune-ups to advanced diagnostics and engine rebuilds across multiple makes and models. As a Technician, you will work with premium brands such as Ducati, Triumph Motorcycles, KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles, GasGas, Honda, Indian Motorcycle, BMW Motorrad, and MV Agusta. The successful candidate demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Passionate Motorcyclist and have a minimum M2 license
- Knowledge and experience working with Ducati, Triumph, KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Honda, Indian Motorcycle, BMW Motorrad, and/or MV Agusta is considered an asset
- Must have 310G Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification
- Diagnostic skills with both carbureted and fuel injected engines
- Basic computer skills
- Must provide own toolbox and hand-tools specific to the trade while GP does supply some specialty tools
- Maintain a clean organized workspace
- Perform quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete
