Event Details

This Sunday (May 24th), join us at Film.Ca Cinemas for a special screening of Yalla Habibi, the FortNine documentary following their attempt to break the 19-day motorcycle circumnavigation record aboard Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally bikes.

Riders are invited to roll in starting around 6:00 PM for a casual bike meet before the movie starts at 7:00 PM. Runtime is about an hour and a half, so we should be heading out right around twilight which should make for a pretty nice ride home.

Also worth mentioning, 100% of ticket sales are being donated to The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride / Movember Canada in support of men’s health.

If you’re looking for an excuse to get the bike out, meet some good people, and watch a great motorcycle film on the big screen, come by.

Movie Synopsis:

FortNine attempts to break the circumnavigation world record with award-winning filmmaker Edwin El Bainou riding pillion. It’s a dangerously silly race across thousands of kilometres per day, with the polished and authentic eye that only a ride-along cinematographer can capture. Part documentary and part dark comedy, this is motorcycling as FortNine has never shown before. In less than 19 days, the trio must ride from Anchorage to Miami, Lisbon to Istanbul, Mumbai to Kolkata, Bangkok to Singapore and Perth to Sydney. Their time includes all flights, border delays, and sleep (what few minutes of it there are). Ducati supplied Multistrada V4 Rally motorcycles in each continent for this expedition, and the rest is just gas, swass and the hourglass.
